Retirement Greeting Cards and Gifts

A recent BBC series about the ageing process demonstrated, through an experiment carried out on six celebrities in their late 70s and 80s, that keeping active and independent in our later years and even continuing to work, generally helps us to keep mentally, psychologically and physically fitter and more likely to live longer. 

So most of my 'Retirement' greeting cards are not so much about 'congratulating' the retired person as inspiring them to forget about their age and continue with the things they always enjoyed or maybe start some new hobby or even career -

      

     

These photographs of the beautiful scenery of Wales would surely inspire an older person to get out and about in the countryside!

6, Useful Art Tips - Part 2

Birthday Cards for Sportsmen of All Ages!

Here is a selection of birthday cards for sportsmen of all ages that are available through my Greeting Card Universe store!

First the younger end of the age spectrum - these junior soccer and tennis players are available in ages from 7 - 11 years old and also without a specific age on them -

      

    

This popular Skateboarding Birthday Card is available for ages 10 - 15 years, though other ages can be made on request.

The skiers are available in ages 16- 20, then 21, 25 and 30 years old: and the footballers (soccer) are available in ages 20 - 30 years old and also for 'Uncle, Dad, Nephew, Cousin and Brother.

    

    

For those whose favourite sport is sailing, this card has space to add a birthday greeting (and age if required) at the bottom, on request.

And finally the older age group is not forgotten with a fisherman and a jogger! The jogger is available as a 'Retirement Card' as well as ages from 65 - 69.

     

Birthday cards for enthusiasts of other sports will gradually be added to this collection and meanwhile, don't forget that I can change the ages or messages on these cards on request.
