Your posters of boats are gorgeous - very London Transport of the era! I love the colours in them, and the pastel medium. I really like the effect of pastels but have never mastered them myself - you've done a great job! I have an affinity for Wales since my grandmother was Welsh. And of course, it wouldn't be Wales without the dragons and sheep:)
As far as I'm concerned, painting in pastels is just drawing in colour! For me it was just a gradual extension of using charcoal in a life drawing class and I've never learnt to use soft pastels 'properly'. I was once asked to teach a soft pastels class but I declined because all I'd be able to tell a class would be 'pick up your pastels and start drawing!' :)
